What it means to be an artist in this day and age, outside social media and outside the commercial art market circuit? I realized that for me it means doing art for myself, as authentic as I can, and follow what brings me joy. I hated the gallery circuit. I hated posting “content” on social media. But I have always loved sketchbooks and diaries, so I decided to transform them in a curated art book, documenting my artistic research in kink. And this is how I want to share my art with the world: at a slower pace, on paper.
